Spf spray polyurethane foam is a mixture of two liquid compounds isocyanate and polyol which expands to 20 or 30 times larger than its original size by creating bubbles or air pockets. This area can fill up with air or water to form a blister which looks like a bubble on your roof.

These bubbles are often referred to as blisters and they are a sign that moisture has reached the inner layers of the polyurethane material.
